I'm not saying if you start your own business right now you'll become a millionaire, but there are advantages to starting a business now. Without any warning the cash flow starts to dry up and the company has to make drastic cuts to stop hemorrhaging money and lot of businesses go belly up.
So, why could this be good for you? Because people still need to live. Even when things get tough we still buy goods and services. Here are three things to keep in mind:
#1. When people are worried about the economy they go into fear mode. As a result, they don't want any extra risk. The people who would go into business in a "normal market" are too afraid to act so you
end up having less competition,and that's a good thing.
#2. We all Begin to understand the value of money when the economy is slow. We become a lot more conscious about where each dollar goes. if you run your business on this principle and continue to, you can weather the ups and the downs in the economy.
#3. You learn the value of customers. Customer service is key. Think of businesses you go to if they act like your not important. Do you want to go back and give them your hard earned money? of course not. Think of how much better you feel when you are treated with respect. You feel like they have earned your business. If you treat your customers good and make them feel good, they will be your best advertising. If they have a bad experience with you, they won't mind spreading that around either.
These are just three small tips that can go along way with you and your business. Remember you are the one who will determine if you are successful.
